The National University Center for Cybersecurity serves as the university's hub for cybersecurity education, workforce readiness, student engagement, and thought leadership. As a designated National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD), the Center helps advance National University's commitment to preparing cybersecurity professionals who can meet evolving industry, government, and national security needs.

The CAE designation, through the National Security Agency (NSA), provides a recognized standard of excellence that connects the Center and National University's cybersecurity programs. Through this foundation, the Center supports the development of relevant skills, practical experience, and industry-informed knowledge that prepares students for cybersecurity careers and lifelong professional growth.

The Center works closely with the Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Master of Science in Cybersecurity programs to connect academic learning with workforce readiness. By aligning education, applied learning, faculty expertise, and community engagement, the Center helps students understand how classroom instruction translates into real-world cybersecurity challenges and career opportunities.
